Chip Design
From design targets and architectural trade-offs through simulation and verification, document trade-offs between performance, power, and area—and the evidence behind each iteration.
We aim to build a “Eureka machine” capable of conducting original research autonomously and automating knowledge discovery—making scientific exploration more widely accessible.
This effort depends on your domain knowledge and scientific judgment. We invite researchers from academia and industry to turn the methods, constraints, and experience developed through research into reusable capabilities for discovery, so more researchers can explore questions that matter.
Join the Expert CommunityLowering the resource barrier to scientific exploration.
Many research ideas require repeated experimentation, computation, and validation. Access to these resources remains uneven.
Apex Eureka Plan aims to bring together domain experts, AI capabilities, and research resources so research experience can be built on and be reused—and researchers in academia and industry have more room to explore.
Science of AI. AI for Science.
The value of research also lies in the path to a result.
We invite you to contribute the scientific reasoning that makes research work: how a problem is decomposed, why one approach is chosen over another, how validation is designed, and when a path should be abandoned.
Focus Areas
From design targets and architectural trade-offs through simulation and verification, document trade-offs between performance, power, and area—and the evidence behind each iteration.
From problem formulation and algorithm selection through numerical experiments, capture judgments about accuracy, stability, convergence, and computational cost.
From research hypotheses and data analysis through backtesting, capture strategy selection, bias detection, and robustness testing.
From task definition and control or planning approaches through simulation or physical experiments, capture constraint handling, failure analysis, and strategy refinement.
From physical assumptions and model construction to solving and validating the model, capture judgments about boundary conditions, numerical error, and physical consistency.
Researchers and engineers in other related fields are equally welcome.
Recognition for your contribution.
Support for your research.
Academic contribution and research resources are central to Apex Eureka Plan.
The plan is designed to document contributions and subsequent reuse, with attribution linked to a contributor’s name and ORCID where provided.
Contributors may apply for free compute allocations and opportunities to use research systems to pursue their own research questions.
Contributors may take part in validating and extending promising results. Authorship and joint publication will be discussed according to actual contributions.
Join discussions on validation methods, evaluation standards, and rules for recognizing contributions in your field.
Paid full-time, internship, part-time, and research-collaboration arrangements may be offered for agreed contribution and review work. Scope and criteria will be defined before collaboration begins.
Bring your research experience into a shared exploration.
Document real research processes and document the key decisions, experiments, and iterations that shaped the work.
Assess the scientific rigor, completeness, and validation quality of contributed research trajectories.
Propose research questions and explore opportunities to collaborate on models, computing resources, and engineering.
